How and when did I become a tutor?

My name is Nicole, and I was born in Brno. The Czech language has been my interest since elementary school, so it's no wonder I decided to study the Czech language and General Linguistics.

My first teaching experience dates back to 2013 in a Czech village in Ukraine. Besides teaching, I was involved in the preparation of cultural events for the local Czech community there.

In 2016, I completed a study internship in Slovenia focused on teaching Czech to foreigners.

In 2018, I returned to Ukraine to teach an intensive summer course.

In 2021, I began offering online Czech classes. Since then, my main focus has been on teaching and creating materials for my students. During the same year, I moved to Canada to gain further international experience, working in a Czech school in Edmonton.

Currently, I am living in New Zealand, connecting my two passions - the Czech language and traveling!

Who am I in my free time?

I am a traveler who likes to explore new cultures and places. I also like to do volunteering while traveling, especially work with animals or any environmental projects.

I am an active person who enjoys hiking, climbing, and many other sports.

My non-active side enjoys reading books, writing stories and podcasts for my students, and relaxing in nature.
